My Regal

yup:bigthumb:

WarWagon / GNocide, how 'bout the Starlight Cruise in 2 weeks? I want to see that project up close!

I went last weekend and was the only Turbo Regal there till another one showed up at the end.

i used to go up all the time- now i work till 8 on Fridays

i find it easier to go to Irwin because i get off at 6 on sat

I just started a new job july 22nd. I can’t commit just yet.
Either way we will all meet up soon.

Irwin / Wexford, either one works. Just shoot me a pm whenever you guys can make time.

AHHHHH
I’ve got the demon tuned in with the help of my friend, VERY TRICKY
and all’s well but I haven’t been able to get the nitrous to spray right yet. maybe have to retune the carb to be compatible with it yet, we didn’t tune it to run with the bottle the first time. then disaster strikes, i’m testing the car out on the road in front of my house and then with out any warning the transmission just quits, It don’t do anything no gears in either forward or reverse ranges, so have to take it back out and see what’s what, prolly the converter or trans pump cuz the fluid level is always high now on the stick when it’s idling and level and I have never added any to it to make it like that. so well see, keep you posted, I’mma try and fix it fast and get it to the track.

I am up for this too. I do need another week since we are just about done installing the new engine.

Warwagon, nice project. It has come a long way.

Okay here is why my trans isn’t working:

And here is my reoccuring gasket problem:

I’ve got a line on a new rebuilt BOPth350, I hope to own it by this weekend and I ordered a new torque converter today it will be in tomorow, should be back out on the road soon, I need it to be cuz the inspection sticker runs out this month and I need a new one, plus I don’t need a ticket for having one expired before I can get it renewed this month.

okay That transmission Sucks the new rebuilt th350 i got lasted 50’ if that, then had nothing but reverse, so I back it back up the road and into my garage and removed it promptly. That was every bit of over a month ago. I bought a nice th350 rebuild kit and Hope to have mine rebuilt soon, Time is short right now and I’d LOVE to make it too the track this year.

so yet another tranny is goingto be built soon and I’m adding an intercooler (freebie saab intercooler). if I don’t use it I’ll use a Cxracing intercooler.

Got my 2nd trans rebuilt with my freinds help for free. It’s back in the car and working great. I removed the Demon carb for now (till I get new gaskets and a good tune on it) and bolted my moded Q-Jet Back on the Weiand Smokey Yunick intake with a 1" adaptor and Sprayed it… Runs GREAT! I wish that the Demon would perform as good as the Q-Jet. Ahh but It will but It needs help from that guy in waynesburg (c’mon Dan tune it).
I should have it intercooled by this weekend coming up, using a freebie Saab intercooler.
Other than that It’s street/track ready but a MADMAN on the bottle.

yea i hear you, my 750 speed demon performs like shit on my bucik 350 compared to the old 2bbl qjet
if that 350 ever goes think about a shorttail th400 with a switch pitch converter

Here are a couple pics of my intercooler. My friend gave it too me for nothing. so I could save some money instead of buying one. It’s from a Saab.

demon makes a great carb. there just tuned pig rich factory. i changed the jets, air bleeds and emulsion bleeds a few times to get it right. after two days of tuning it ran great. i have blank and drilled emulsion and air bleeds if you guys need some

I do I do I do Need some.
Please

here is what i have 19 blank air bleeds, 16 blank emulsion bleeds, a bunch of drilled ones also, the holder for drilling and all the small drill bits. you can come borrow these, use what you need and return the rest. just make sure you or the tuner has a deep knowledge of a demon carb and how the emulsion bleeds tune your fuel curve. i also have a book on demon tuning if you want to borrow that also.

Tore the Demon apart and everything is as they said it was.

I got another Intercooler for the buick project. Thanks to Partsman and whoever wrecked their VW Passat. It’s just about the exact same size as the Sabb Intercooler only the flow cores are bigger and the inlet and outlets are 3" even though in the pic it looks smaller compared the Sabb but it is leaning.
