Pretty sweet, but needs a bath!

lol Yeah I agree, I don’t have much paint to wash but I do clean all the glass and chrome/brightwork up, just not this week.
Thanks for checking the thread out.

Alright! so I took the day off of working on other peoples stuff and tweaked my own ride.
Valve springs! I decided to swap out my stockers for the comp 980’s for good reasons mostly so the originals are out. Then changed the oil and filter.
I’m going to the Flashlight Drags tomorrow in Waynesburg, PA and that is a 43 mile journey for me and I’ve driven the car on the interstate once before and I thought it was revving a bit high for just cruising with 3.42’s and a 3 speed.
Now I have a little better peace of mind while cruising on the interstate right in the torque peak and the car just wanting to roll.
I test drove the car tonight and I’m getting about 500 more rpm’s on top and it’s pulling harder and further now, Not much different from the Lt1 springs I ran on the old engine,So super upgrade from the valve springs.
I included a shot of the plugs too while they were out, They look good it’s a solid tune I’m running and you can’t even tell that I made several 100 shot N20 pulls.

I’m supposed to take the Regal to Rodehavers hot rod shop and dyno Aug 14th.

FIRST!! I must apologize I have no video’s on the dyno by me “I brought 8 batteries and they were all dead” BUT There were many people shooting video and I’m 100%sure they got the Regal too so still might have some luck on having multimedia as soon as I find out who took it and where it’s posted.

Continuing: This is the first time my car has been on a Mustang Dynomometer so I didn’t know what to expect and I just figured the car would make the previous numbers I made.
WRONG! the baseline was 255whp and 458wheel torque (actually down a little on HP but gained almost 60 ft-lbs compared to my first dyno runs)??? go figure
Then we sprayed the remaining pulls: Lookout!!! the SOB jumped up too 365 whp and 601 ft-lbs to the wheels!
The car feels great and pulls hard clear up top even though the graphs show power falling off???

that is retarded lol. congrats those are good numbers for sure

I agree. lol Thanks BigBlock!!

x2

Silly torque numbers, nice.

Thanks guys! Yeah for even being on a mustang dyno I was still surprised about the numbers. Not bad for a 100% stock iron everything, factory cast pistons.

ive seen a similar graph from a 87 gn. power numbers were different but how the graph is layed out.

congrats!!!

Thanks quick! Good to know you have seen another Buick with a dyno graph looking similar too thesen

Thats sum killer torque Adam, im lovin it.

Thanks Jason, everyone likes some killer torque!

which is blown. So It’s upgrade time for me, I’m stepping up to a PT52 now.
