There’s no tolerance stack up when you’re only making one of something.

Yea but you are trying to seal on two surfaces; presumably wanting to have the two outside cases match up closely and then also keep the glass tight. Unless you are expecting something to deform I think a small planned gap with a seal or gasket of some type should be considered. I mean no one can really make anything to ±.0000"
