After two years of owning the car it has really become a project so I figured now is the time to post up some pictures.
As it sits now:
Swift springs
Volk TE-37 flat black wheels with 265s in the front and 305s in the rear
Modified Stillen supercharger pushing close to 10PSI
Ark cat back exhaust
Motordyne ART test pipes
Short throw shifter (don’t remember the brand currently)
Escort redline radar detector hardwired in
Plastidip-ed the front and rear emblems
I originally had the stock wheels with 20mm spacers with plans to get them painted this winter but in the last week the Volks came up with a deal way too good to pass up.
The tuning for the SC was done at Synapse who prior to this had no experience with this vehicle or software let alone with a rather heavily modified Stillen SC setup. Despite that and a few hiccups getting the car done they really tuned the car amazing, it drives and feels like stock +180 HP
And more pictures, sorry for the poor quality of everything. Eventually I will get good pictures, I’ve only had the wheels on for two days now and there is far too much going on currently.
I think I’ll take it for at least a few runs, people with my setup seem to be running low 12s in the high 110s-low 120s with traction being the major hindrance.
My mind is far too disorganized currently so I’m adding bits and pieces to the OP as I think of it.
Nice 370!
A coworker (also on the370.com) has a magnetic black auto. I love driving it. He was considering the supercharger or turbo but I guess with the auto there were some issues. TE37’s look perfect on there! Here’s a link to a few pics I took of his: http://www.flickr.com/photos/killerblackbird/sets/72157619671101658/
Wow, very nice car. Definitely like what youve done with it. Does your car have the downshift rev-match feature? If so I’d be curious to know how it reacts with F/I
Yeah it does, it works perfectly with the FI though a bit enchanced now as every time I downshift I can hear the slight whine of the SC and the bark of the full exhaust.
Beautiful pictures, I really need to get some quality pictures taken of mine now that it’s at this point.
Thanks for the kind words guys, I’ll try to get some better pictures and organization to the thread as the holidays pass.
