Picked up a projector for a steal… supports up to 720p… Watched The dark knight on it… looks awesome in high def (blu ray)… seeing as I dont have a TV in my room anymore i figured this would do nicely… once I get a real projection screen itll look 10x better…
I gotta hook my cable box up to it tommorow
(couldent put the video in full screen cause it makes it to dark for my phone)
I used to just have my box hooked up to my monitor and switch between those
i’ve got one too. cracked head special for $40 you can’t go wrong.
Buy a screen, they look like such crap on a wall it’s not even funny…

It’s rated at about 3000 hours… but I figure on 2000 before it goes from experiance…
but it has to be on for about 6 hours a day for a year to get there…
When I got it it had 700 hours on it
I have a 100" Diagnoal pull down screen comming for it today (company hookups ftw)… I measured it out, man that fucker is going to be bigger than i thought
Oh and seriously, theres a DLP Projector on craigs right now for 300 bucks with 200hours on it… if you want one i sugggest you pick it up… thats a steal…
i bought a 65 inch tv. it’s just big enough. if i get anything bigger it’ll be too big, so i wouldnt be able to see the whole screen.

i wanted to get a projector for the room in the basement, but im waiting to get a 1080 projector if i can find one cheap. that 65 is enough for me. 100 is kool, but i dont think theres a room in the house big enough to need a 100" screen, ya know?

thats pretty kool. projectors are great. my one problem would be now is to tuck wires away if i got one. the basement is basically done and i dont want to just get the claw hammer out and start bashing walls and ceiling, yanno?

The screen just got in here at work (I went thru our distribution company we use so i got a deal on it in first place 200 dollar screen cost me 95 bucks)
I saw it and was like oh fuck me its not going to fit in my car… needless to say it barely fits, i mean by a cunt hair it fits…

I woul dhave to figure out my layout first… Because right now my proctor is on a small table and my room isnt that big… id have to mount the porjector higher so people could sit on the floor or whatever in bean bag chair or something cool like that and not have their head in the picture
