name that plug

S14 SR20.

I don’t know where this plug goes. There are no open spots around it and the only open spots are the ones seen in the pics below. Anyone know what that plug does?

Where does this ground connect to on the motor? It goes from the chassis to the motor but I don’t remember where.

I’am pretty sure one of the grounds goes to the intake manifold…

Yeah I think the back of the IM.

Ground is the alternator housing ground and that plug isn’t needed as its for the auto tranny :slight_smile:

do you have the little black box that control your DTRL in that corner by the battery?

That plug is for the auto tranny.

The car is a 95 and the motor is 94 S14 SR.

IIRC, that plug is for the VTEC solenoid actuator.

The IM ground is larger than that. Therefore it couldn’t have been it.

Yea I realized that after I looked again at the pic…I’am pretty sure the ground he has there is not needed…

As said in my earlier post, its for the alternator housing.
