I am sorry to say this but if your a mechanic that works on cars all day you should know how to do this correctly and there should be zero risk of damaging the engine. You should never use tap water in your cooling system. If your doing the swap you should use distilled water only to prevent mineral deposits from forming inside your engine, which can lead to hot spotting and damage. Running water should have no effect on yours car warranty. From my understanding there are no Nissans that run special coolant additives to prevent overheating.

I DO KNOW HOW TO DO THIS! Been doing it for over 10 years now, why do people not listen?? I CLEARLY STATED that I don’t have the money to go out and buy jugs of distilled water, or jugs of anti freeze. ALL I MERELY STATED WAS I DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS FOR A FEW HOURS OF FUN. NOW DROP IT!!!:mad:

I’m sorry to say that if people obviously can’t read, they shouldn’t comment. Sorry if this sounds angry, but why don’t people just accept my decision and leave it at that??
