NECC Board of Directors Nominations

Hello all;

3 of the 5 Board of Directors positions have already been filled with current administration titles and with the discretion of the President. The 2 positions that remain open are for 2 senior members.

Please nominate either yourself or someone you know that is a member, if you should think that you are able to fill the positions. We are looking for someone who can work well with others, can work in a professional manner, and thinks they can contribute something positive to the NECC.

When placing your nominations, please post a brief description right here on this forum topic of why you or that person should be eligible for the position on the Board. We will accept the nominees at the descretion of the other Board Members and Administration. After 2 weeks of nominations or idle traffic within this topic, an online elections will be held here in the Members Only Section in which you may elect the nominee to which you like best.

Perks to the positions are: your next NECC annual members at no charge, your name/position printed on the NECC merchandise at no charge, and the ability to contribute your opinion and/or knowledge to the operation and management of the NECC in a number of fashions.

  • By DeathBy240: I cannot think of an event or meet that he has missed. He is an active member of the forum, as well as a moderator. Whenever decision were being made he has added his thoughts and comments. He has shown a long time commitment to the club, and I beleive he would be valuable in the decision making body

Rob (RS13)

  • By Nis240: I would like to nominate Rob (RS13), he has shown great dedication to the club since he joined and has participated in the NECC forum for even longer. He is a great guy to deal with and help get the ball rolling on the whole NECC society.

Andru (Zazam)

  • By DeathBy240: He has been a long time member and always bring his car out to represent.

Jamie (phat240)

  • By silvia_s13: Always shows up to meets and has expressed interest in killing himself with a Nissan. He is a good guy who is passionate when it comes to Nissans and he has been on here for a while.

Jay (silvia_180sx__ )

  • By silvia_s13: New, but is an avid foum user and has been to many meets and expressed possible solutions and ideas for the club.

Matt (Chromedragon)

  • By silvia_s13: Showed up at many meets and is a long time member and a great photographer.

Thank you very much but i do not know if i can do it, since i am not 18 yet (but will be by next meeting). I second the nomination of Flavio (Nis240) because he has been to almost every meeting, his beautiful quote, and this happiness with a stock engine :rolleyes: Also should we have some Calgary people on the board or are they all not paid members yet??

I dont think you need to be 18, do you? I didnt remember seeing that in the bylaws. No Calgary members yet to my knowledge, and they havent been around or proven any dedication as of yet.

I would also like to nominate Andru (Zazam). He has been a long time member and always bring his car out to represent.

Nope, you do not need to be 18. The age of limit in our bylaws is 16.

There are a few Calgary members actually, but it wouldn’t be feasible to have Board members in another city.

Soon enough we will look after Calgary. Rob has been added, and so will Andru after he accepts his nomination.

Definately throw my vote in for Flavio and Andru.They have been around for a long time, are consistently at meetings and events and are all round good guys. :partyman:

Because no one is nominating themselves, I would like to nominate some people who have not yet been nominated but have contributed to necc. Whether it was their time, or ideas, I think these people have been a benifet to necc.

Just giving you members some other options. Live is hard:

  • Chromedragon (Matt) - Showed up at many meets and is a long time member and a great photographer.

  • silvia_180sx__ (Jay) - New, but is an avid foum user and has been to many meets and expressed possible solutions and ideas for the club.

  • TylerH (Tyler) - He is a busy guy, but I thought I would nominate him because he is a good guy who has been around forever.

  • phat240 (Jamie) - Always shows up to meets and has expressed interest in killing himself with a Nissan. He is a good guy who is passionate when it comes to Nissans and he has been on here for a while.

  • TyPh00n (Scott) - Attends meets on a regular bases and is an avid forum user who has had his car in shows representing necc is a old guy around here.
