Everyone I have met on this forum and in person have been stand-up guys, which is why I thought to post this hear instead of going straight to the mechanic I normally go to.
Check engine light on, won’t pass inspection. These are the codes I was given.
P0154: Low 02 Sensor Activity Bank 2 Sensor1
P0650: Mil Control Circuit Problem
P1133: 02 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 Insufficient Switching
P1153: 02 Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 1 Insufficient Switching
Driver information buttons not working, although the display works and shows up to date information and errors.
It would be great if anyone needed anything IT related done and we could do a trade of service. I own a small IT company and can help with anything from low voltage wiring to server/client setups.
Otherwise I am happy to pay for the help as I don’t feel anyone should work for nothing. Let me know.

Forgot to mention, the exhaust has a distinct gas smell in it, much stronger than any other car I’ve driven. Not sure if that’s part of the problem, or to be expected with this car.
EDIT: I have not checked anything. I had Larry at Corvette’s and Performance on Transit look at it and these codes i received from him. He was vague on what it “could” take and “could” cost.
My car throws a P0650 - Which I learned is because my CEL isn’t hooked up.
I can only suggest looking at the PCM C2 connector (80 pin) pin 5. The MIL control ckt. comes through pin 5. The only other thing I’d say is try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect to reboot the PCM. DTC P0650 means that there is an improper voltage level detected on Output Driver Module D output 1 (MIL control ckt.)
Have LZ check out the voltage coming out of the O2 sensors. You might need to replace them…if so buy something good the cheap ones suck.
The other problems could be related to the steering bypass issues C5’s have. If someone installed the bypass kit or GM installed it at a later date there might be some loose wiring under the dash. Google C5 steering lock bypass for more information.
I can’t do any troubleshooting or code erasing through the DIC because the buttons that control it on the dash are not responding. I can say that at one point when i took an hour long highway drive the check engine light went out and stayed out for a day, then came back and has been on since.

Its modified quite a bit. I’ll check out that Steering lock issue and see if it applies, thanks.

Well tell us what you have done to the car and that’ll also help. Who tuned the car for you?
Also check the battery. If you have low voltage it will cause all sorts of problems to pop up in the C5’s. Could be a reason why the long drive helped…could have fully charged a dieing battery?
I didn’t do any work on the car, bought it from the dealership this way.
317 ported heads, fast 78 , cam, headers, exhaust. I believe there was a dry nos system on it before i got the car, which has since been removed. But its possible it was tuned for that and not re-tuned after it was removed.
I would bring it to Nitrosane and have him scan it. Don’t let anyone in buffalo tune the car. It makes crazy power already. If I was you, go to new era in roch. I just took my truck there and there is a reason they have the fastest ls motors and cars around. No one around here had his knowledge, experience and proven results.
