i agree with that, i’m not telling you to go all out on your first time at the track and end up smashing all your body panels or anything, but whats the point of dumping 10 k in a car and not even enjoying it where it matters?

I got my 240 for the track at 2000.00. You may have to go a little higher if you want something that will last more than one track day. Trust me spend the xtra lil bit and save yourself later.

if you brought a beater to the track to drift, im pretty sure no one would let you on. The standards for lapping days are even higher.
To track, your car has to be in strong mechanical order. A simple running car isn’t good enough.
No track organizer wants to cough out money or be liable to insurance company for damages someones beater will do.
And a beater will do damage.
