Need Adivce, Auto Lifts for Personal Use

Times come, I am looking at putting a lift in my shop. I know there are similar threads on here, I’ve read through them and just not finding the info I need.

I have ample floor space, my ceiling height is 12ft and a few inches. I would like at least a 10,000# lift as my K2500 may need to be lifted, loaded, at any time.

Anyone have any success buying from ebay? Any installers on here looking for a job?

How much should I be budgeting, I see them anywhere from $1800-3000 and I’m comfortable there.

Any input is appreciated! Thanks Ryan Walker for your help thus far.

Forward clear floor versametric lift from Loomis Root. Tell the salemen Chuck you got referred and they’ll knock a few bucks off bolting the prick down. Come see mine any time. Mine was $2600 with tax, and $300 Cash to bolt down.

Looked up the specs, that looks to be everything I’m looking for, now I gotta find a phone number for Chuck, lol

Chuck. Haven’t been in direct contact with him in some time becausefucktires, but have spent a boatload of cash with him at multiple accounts.

Ive already been in contact with Jim, the sales manager, so this should be pretty easy, lol

bunch of family veterans in that own/run the place, army, navy and marine… all three of them were razzin’ each other in my garage, pretty good time.

I bought a BendPak 10,000# assymetrical a couple years ago. I did a little research on various manufacturers before pulling the trigger, mostly for quality performance. I wanted something that wouldn’t fail lifting my F250 diesel.

This is the route I’m going to be going with in ~18 months if things fall together.

Buy a Rotary. Hands down the best in quality and the last lift you will ever buy. Buy it once, buy quality you won’t regret. Go used if you have to. I can show first hand examples if needed. The off brand cheap ones are a roll of the dice.

I was gonna say talk to Jim at loomis root, good guy and he runs the show there

Do they rep any full rise scissor lifts? All I saw on the website was low/mid rise…

I ended up going with the Forwardlift supplied by loomisroot. Total cost was around $3000, its a very nice versametric unit and fit in my 12ft ceiling garage perfectly! 10000#.
Will have more once its wired and operational.

I have the same one, very happy with it.

Same lift here, also installed by Jim at Loomis Root. Worth every penny to avoid laying on the cold ground.

That garage though… congrats.

^^ seriously…FML

Can’t go wrong with a 50’x50’, here is what the other side looks like.

Front when we moved in…

Doesn’t take long to fill does it?
