The steering rack on my car is leaking and will need to be replaced, most shops have quoted me $1300 to fix but that is just way to expensive for me.
I’ve located a 1990 240 steering rack and i believe it is a direct bolt on, but I also know that the powersteering lines are on the opposite sides.
I was wondering if anyone can help me around this problem, (p/s lines on opposite sides). What will i need to do to bolt the 1990 steering rack onto my 1991 240.

Buy the P/S rack off my 91 coupe.
so do i just stretch the lines over to the opposite side of the rack?
how much are you selling the p/s lines?
If yours is a 91 then my rack would fit no problems… you wont even need
the P/S lines.
The steering racks are the same, your '91 lines should screw right in. The lines are not on the other side. '89-'90’s had the PS resevoir on the other side, so the lines go to the other side of the car from the same spot on the steering rack and PS pump.
