Agree. Old roomie had a 420A, it was pretty stout so far as reliabilty goes. Of course, every car will be different. I’ve always wanted a GST, but the reliability turned me off.
For anyone who wants to rely on that thing to get to work and back, I’d say no.
I know you guys are import junkies on this forum or whatever, but honestly you can get a 97 sport limited edition thunderbird for half what that eclipse costs, and everything will be half.
Half the insurance rate, half the maintenance, everything.
Even with a v8 the thing nearly gets 30mpg on the freeway.
