need help: clean heat for shop space

OP we use the same type of heater you do in our garage with little to no fumes at all. First off we start the heater with the garage door open and the burner side nearly outside, after the initial start up and puff from the heater, turn it around and close the garage door. This makes it much nicer and let it sit for 20 mins and return outside to start working. Works for me.

not sure i followed this… the heater i have is a vertical propane heater… it is not directional
