i have a s13 silvia with a sr20det… now the problem iam having is with the tranny… i have a new clutch kit put in to it and and a new holder for the bearing cause the old on broke… i ran out of fluid in the clutch and we put more in and bleed the line to make sure there was no air in it and it worked good and after driving it all day the clutch pedal get harder to put in and the point to engage in got farther from the floor if that makes any sense and when it got to the point of where i have to push it in about a 1/4 inch to engage the clutch or disenage the clutch is starting to slip what could be the problem that is causeing this ???
Your clutch aligntment is out…behind the pedal is an adjustment nut and screw…undjust it so that your pedal has about 1/2 inch of freeplay…then test it to see where it grabs…it should grab right about in the middle…if its grabbing right at the top of your pedal…and there is no freeplay your clutch will slip…as mine did the same thing.
