I need a bigger HDD for my Alienware m5500i -R3. I want at least 120gb, but anything bigger than my current 80gb will work. It only needs to spin 5400rpm and has to be 2.5" form factor. I would prefer a Western Digital, or Seagate. I just want to see what my best options are. Or if anyone has a used one… Thanks.
Try NewEgg…they aren’t that expensive anymore. Especially a 5400rpm drive.
Shady is probably your best bet though.
your biggest problem is wanting such a small drive…i think they might give those away for free now.
Haha, thanks. I figured with 1TB getting pretty cheap, now would be the time. I just need to go through all of the ones NewEgg has, and pick one I suppose.
I usually sort by “Best Rating” and then narrow it down the specs I want.
I technically, would buy ANY Seagate, Western Digital, or Hitachi drive. Just buy the size you want with the best rating.
