need help finding wheels

truth

thats about what i figured the front to be with a stock/thinner wheel.
9" though… i need to go remeasure the fronts. i didnt think i was going to get anything bigger than 8 in there without it being really really tight.

I just meant that because he was showing the pictures of rims with huge negative offset. Isn’t that what you where trying to get away from?

I would get say an 8 in rim at least.

You could go with a 245/40/17-255/40/17 which is super common and cheap. (~100 each)

dude! wtb pic of u thugging it, omg! toda party F-bod thug stylez pose!

as soon as its warm out, i will bust out the wife beater

this is a 4lug mustang correct? you can use focus wheels. they have 45mm offsets, and older VW/Audi have 32 offsets to 35 offsets.

LOL get some Ronal Bears

EDIT: if you dont care about the cost of wheels check out compomotive wheels or keskins

nope, it is 5 lug

EDIT:
the FN-01RC’s come in 17x7 with 5x114.3 in 35 and 42 offset…backwards compared to 32 and 45…ill keep looking

EDIT2:
there are no existing 16x7 or 17x7 with 32mm offset…only 35.

here is a listing off ALL 16x7 and 17x7 in 45mm offset i can find ATM

for me to look any further i need to know with the 17x7 or 16x7 with 32mm offset in the front how much gap you have in MM to the strut/frame/anything else in the way on the inner side, and how much space from the wheel/tire to the fender…this may be helpful to take into accout if you roll the fender

IF KEEPING THE INNER DISTANCE THE SAME:

a 7" wide front wheel with 32mm offset…as you state you need:

a 7.5" wheel needs a 26mm offset, with 12mm extra on the fender side

an 8" wheel needs a 19mm offset, with 26mm extra on the fender side

8.5" needs 13mm, with 38mm extra on the fender side

9" needs 7mm, with 50mm extra on the fender side

with the current setup unless i have a spacer i just barely rub the front shock. thats with the oem svo 16x7 rim that has the +45 offset. so +32 should give me 13mm clearance, or the 1/2" i need to make them even with the rears.

the tire side wall in the rear is even with the inside of the wheel well lip now, but compressed it should come in a touch, and i think i can free up another 1/4" by rolling them. so i may actually be able to get another 1/2" extra that way.

i will have to measure it all up when i get back in town.

i edited my post…describe “barely rub”…hang on let me run some more calcs

ZD - spindle swap will make your life much easier, and allow you to 11ty2 different combos.

And at this point, may well be cheaper based on lack of wheels.

so by this statement…you can use +35mm offset fronts and be only .08" wider in the front…unnoticable. otehrwise your going to need to go with a spacer to compensate for another offset. and i am having a hell of a time finding something that would work with a spacer

now if you roll the rears to get an extra 1/2", you can bump your rear offset to +40 to compensate and push the rears out a 1/4"…

but then in front you would need a 27mm offset…

still working on it lol

yeah, i’m thinking that or maybe running a little wider tire in back.

that still leaves me with the hub to hub distance issue. the 96 spindle won’t even make up the 1/2" per side i need. really, i am better off with a rear end thats not as wide, or the 96 spindles and an 8.8 as far as not having a difference in the hub to hub distance.

well at least thats what i think after reading way too much the last couple days.

bsaically, to achieve your +32mm offset in the front, you would have to buy +35mm offset wheels, and a pair of 3mm spacers.

if you roll the rear fenders and use +40mm in the rear, you need 8mm spacers with the same +35mm offset front wheels.

got a side view of the car picture and maybe a prefference for wheel style for me to help search some options?

This is the front end of my car. This is the guy I bought it off of.

96+ SN95 spindle is said to add .31" (8mm) of track width when replacing a fox spindle. I have not confirmed this.

so i need
96+ SN95 spindle, and then SN95 or T-Bird arms to get my front equal to my rear end.

none of those combos give me the 1" i need though. i still end up needing a spacer, or wheels with a different offset.

when your back in town, post up a pic of the car roughly and some ideas as far as rim styles, and updated/confirmed dimensions. then ill go crazy searching

Otherwise…all four stock wheels are +45mm offset? if thats the case you COULD go with 13mm spacers and extended studs if you HAVE to…right?

You’re roght, sorry. I read your post about 1/2" per side, and thought of this

79-86 stock K-member + fox arms = .5" per side
… which doens’t apply.

96+ will give you .31 requiring spacers or lesser offset.
94-95 will give you way too much

YGPM.

nevermind, you beat me to it.
