:rofl
That new switch you got must be fucked up! Or your hazard relay, but it’s pretty unlikely that the failure mode would be them staying on.

Steve I posted a link to schematics above.
Well these aren’t normal relays, the hazard relay and crash module both have transistor logic in them. If you replaced the hazard relay with a known working relay and did not cycle the cars power and/or disconnect the battery there might be a problem. Might want to try that one again.
It seems the hazards can work without the crash module.
The hazard switch will only flash with the hazards when it’s depressed, no questions.
Drive around without the crash module if you can, see if the problem still exists.
we’ll be trying it again this time killing the power first.
I really don’t see any problems with the power going to the relay do you?
Just pull the bulbs and use hand signals
/ thread fuckin noobs
It should be fine, but who knows. Like I said its not a regular relay… it has a standard coil and contacts but the coil is controlled with transistors and other circuitry. Anyone have schematics of the internals of the actual hazard relay and crash module?
Mr. Fizzle stopped over and we gave his relay another go. Sure as shit, it worked just fine.
Who knows what I did wrong when I tried it yesterday.
