The rear I was able to crawl under and torch gradually. The fronts, I bought some clamps that sandwiched two coils together. Used two clamps per side…

The best way to lower your car is to make a For Sale post on craigslist.
Go to you’re local home depot in Mahopac and grab a few mexicans, they’ll know how to lower your saturn.
Your best bet may be to check saturn forums (try saturnfans) and look in their FS section. Doing a quick google search, looks like a company called agility made complete coilovers for the SC series.
It looks like there are ground control coilover kits out, but IMO these are all garbage, but it will get you lower. Your struts will blow in no time most likely:

During my google search, i did find something on the saturn forums about someone taking coil sleves from a civic eg and trimming them slightly to fit. Those should be a dime a dozen on ebay if you really wanna go cheap

my reply was serious.
They’ll improve ride quality AND lower the car AND provide functionality if he needs clearance.
They’ll probably even handle better than stock, though I wouldn’t go racing.
