need immediate computer help, big problem.

i really didn’t need to see you…i have a perfect mental image of you losing it.

I dont know about that… 700 for a logic board? god damn, you can get a pretty much top of the line pc incl. monitor and printer for that much $$$

I’d be firebombing the apple store if they didn’t honor the warrenty

that’s 700 installed at the apple store. that price includes labor. you have to remember that this is a laptop and those are retail prices. i could have done it myself for $100 or so. what top of the line PC comes with a monitor for that price? that seems extremely low.

as for honoring the warranty, they didn’t have to. it’s a one year manufacturer warranty. i was outside the 1 year. they didn’t have to do shit, so there was no way i would be firebombing the store, regardless of the outcome. i just would have been real sad.

pretty much i love apple. my 1 week repair estimate was way off. i dropped it off last night. at 5:30 tonight just as i was supposed to leave work, they called me and said my computer was ready for pick up. i went and picked it up. works great!!!

i <3 apple. x 10293802198310298

none

u gotta pay to play as everyone says.

that’s what i thought. that seems more like a base to mid range model price to me.

Umm replace a motherboard in a mac laptop for $100 hahahahahahhahahahahahah have fucking fun.

Parts for those any Apple are so expensive it’s not even funny.

i’ve seen them for about that price on ebay. you’re not going to get one brand new for that price. and you’d have to do it yourself.

are you kidding me?

There are TONS of deals out there on PC’s… these only took me 5 mins to find. All the latest technology… they arent an alienware or XPS machine with quad SLi (also overpriced IMO) but still good rigs

Did you just use emachines and hp in the same breath as “good rigs”???

lol Emachines are sweet if you want to get a new mobo…when the powersupply blows it the fuck up.

 I got an emachine from crazyjon a few years back and it still works great… never had a problem with 'em

never had a problem with HP either actually, my old 500mhz pavilion from high school is still getting used
