I’m going to need insurance on my new car, since I’m not on my dads anymore. What would you recommend for the cheapest?
how’s your credit
I could check with the company you were on under your parents. I was in the same situation. I have been on my parents GEICO policy since I started driving and now on my own and its crazy cheap.
Take a day off and get quotes from 3-4 companies.
Geico was cheapest for me before I bought the house.
Now that I have the house, I got their homeowners insurance through traveler’s.
Allstate offers a way better policy for homeowners/auto, so I’m going back to them.
should be cheap with a shitty fucking neon… go anywhere
check with AAA i have mine threw them and its the cheapest i have had. it may not be for you but its worth a shot to see. they just started insurance not to long ago.
your best bet is to go to a local broker that represents numerous companies. that way they can check a bunch of different companies and set you up with the cheapest…as it is different for each driver
Im with Geico, and since i turned 25, my renewal was 47 dollars a month cheaper than my last. Cant wait for the wife to turn 25.
I’m also with geico, and since i turned 21, my premium was nearly cut in half from being on my parents policy and living with them. moving from OP to cheektowaga and turning 21 did me wonders, not to mention adding a second car only raises my total premium by $25-30 lol.
+1 If you are young or have a bad driving record
LOL
try autoone.
My mom is my agent. she works at floss agency near casey/transit. Shopped around and got me the best prices/coverage for the past few years with all sorts of companies (state farm, progressive, geico, etc…)
