I personally am anticipating a position opening up jan 1st when the new budget takes effect, I was working it before I got injured at work and had to get surgery. Its a 70% pay increase, better hours, MUCH better enviroment woohoo
dont knock it, til you try it. and its always an option,if youre motivated and can take orders, youll do well. i advanced quite well, just didnt want a career in the military.
brett got it right, if i did not have a solid job i would have been in the military for sure. I would never be able to go there and take care of things here though now. But again if i did not have a stable job, i would not have a house and a dog to take care of.
The Military is looking more and more appealing to people without jobs, as the way the economy is going its your best shot at keeping a roof over your head and food in your stomach, or taking care of your family. But its not for everyone.
