i have a feeling that the relevance of transitioning from a gt to a shelby as compared to a 600 to a 1000 doesn’t really exist. cars ≠ bikes

that being said, get a 600. I’m willing to bet that if you have no plans for track days, you’ll never get the experience on public roads needed to push it to it’s max in the turns.

also, make sure it’s a comfortable bike for you to be on. If you have t-rex arms or an abnormally short torso or something, it may be uncomfortable to ride certain bikes with the posture they put you in.

I went with the R6. This was what I wanted to begin with then I found about the deal on the CBR. I was considering the the 1000RR because it was such a good deal.

Let me clarify. What I was trying to convey was that I didn’t drive my GT500 like I stole it until I got a good feeling for the car. So I’m not going to ride this bike hard until I have the proper respect for what it can and cannot do.
