Im installing a new torque converter in the Typhoon and I decided to install a new seal in the trans just to make sure it wouldnt leak, problem is I cant get the old one out, It looks like theres a little groove behind the seal to pry it out, but I tried and cant get it, I end up scratching everything up. Is there a special tool I need to remove this?
you can get a seal removal tool from part store. about 10 bucks and handy to have anyways.
that or a flat screw driver & small hammer.MAKE SURE U LOCK-TITE IT IN!
