Need some repair work/paint on my wrx front bumper

This winter was rough on my wrx’s front bumper. Have a few scratches and gouges(on the lip). Should I take it to the dealer or is there a shop that is recommended?

Aero Auto Body on Ransom… Stand up guys and first class work. Theyre always building show/rods cars on the side so they take really fine attention to details. Had some work done by them on my WRX and it turned nothing less than perfect.

it’s actually the opposite…they PRIMARILY do high-dollar show cars and rods…and OCCASIONALLY do collision work on the side. LOL. awesome guys and super awesome work.

Haha I must have been in at stange time then. They did have a Year One Camaro a sweet 350z, and some old custom Ford in there, however there was also an astro van, a fed ex truck, an RV and my car… but yeah needless to say, they take on all sorts of jobs lol.

Do dealers tend to run more or less expensive than private shops? Any reason to stay away from dealers for this kind of work? Thanks for the info fellas.

I had some panels piece painted by dealers over the years for my Miata. I say not to go to a dealer. They are only worried about getting it done quick so they get cash and your shit gets painted half ass. The turn around is much quicker going to a dealer but in the long run the paint work isn’t as good as going to a reputable shop who will give your parts their full attention.

+1
