I went back to the stock exhaust on my car. The exhaust is cut in one spot and needs to be re-welded (I am using a clamp to hold it on there for now.) Does anyone know of any good welders in the 518 that can do this for a good price? It’s only welding the pipe together in one spot so I cant imagine this costing more than like ten or 15 bucks max.
why dont you check out Govel, probably would cost you 25-30 or so… figure 1/2hour labor+ material cost.
:+1 Just go see Govel
I can weld it for ya…if I jack your car up, is it a easy place to get too? I have a rare arthritus in my write hand from a severe quad accident a few years ago from when I broke my wrist so I have trouble bending my wrist to weld in odd places lol
It’s right before the rear axle if i remember correctly… i am 99% positive thats where it is. I forget where the kid cut it but I know it’s before the axle and in an easy spot if you jack the car up from the rear.
I was thinking of Govel, I know George fairly well and have had him do some work for me before. I’ll probably end up having him do it.
BUMP… still havn’t gotten this done. :lol
Inline does welding. See if Hank can do it also. Synapse? Midas? Cole? Monroe? uhm, i cant think of any other places
stop being so fucking lazy
Go to govel’s
dave at inline will deff weld that up for you, hes a great welder
I can weld.
^^ Go to Nick :thumb
Only prob is finding a place that can fit me in with their schedule… I work til like 8 or 9 then during the day I have class. I don’t have work or class tomorrow so if anyone wants to help me out that would be cool. I don’t really want to go to midas or monro, too many horror stories from those places.
Want to help me out? lol
The soonest i’ll be available would be saturday. Work til 9 tonight and all day tomorrow.
That works, no rush really. I just want to get it done and overwith before it gets really cold out. Do you have a welder and all that fun stuff?
Yeap. I’ve got just about everything we need to get it done. Does the whole catback come down easy or does it have to be welded under the car?
It would have to be welded on the car. It’s in a really accessible spot right before the rear trailing beam, so it’s not like its on a bend over the “axle” or anything drastic.
I would imagine it shouldn’t be a problem then. We’ll just have to figure out a good time to meet up.
Anytime saturday works for me man.
