yea i never thought about a band saw… so who has one?
the head is alum, so it wont be too hard to cut
try smacking it with a sledge hammer first … hacksaw a groove in the block side, then put it block side down w/ a 2x4 on each and and give it a shot … might break close enough to where you want it
if its close, grind some alum. off to get to the point you want
Band Saw would probably be best or a metal cutting chop saw, or if you have alot of time on your hands a regular ole hack saw
I can cut it with a metal band saw at school, providing its not FUCILLO HUGE, PM me if you want. Id be happy to do it thursday…
we have a basdsaw that could do it
fucking sawzall with a metal blade would work well if u dont mind the abuse on ur hands or holding it striaght, plus i think sawzall is easier to come by then a bandsaw not to mention portable
steak knife.
butter knife
plastic butter knife…
hit up Hybrid Don said theirs will work
I knew you guys had the saw that would work, I just didn’t want to volunteer you for the job…
bandsaw, that what we use to “bread slice” our heads and blocks to examine casting/machining issues. Aluminum is very soft as far metals go, shit you can hacksaw it with a good blade made for metals/steel.
