you can report him to the police not necessarily <–spelling? to get him in trouble but they can find out who it is for you because im not going to lie thats really creepy if he is sending texts like that
i know.
this really was a serious thread, which was naive on my part. as i said, i really don’t care what people text him, it isn’t my problem.
the point was that i want to find out who this guy is and figure out a way to get him to stop. if we could block his number, that’s great. if not, and he keeps addressing the subjects of his texts by name in the same stalker-esque way he has been, then i will find out his name and address and report him to the police. if he obtained these numbers from the phone, then he could have easily found out who the owner of the phone is, which means he is in posession of stolen property.
i know i am taking it too far, but having my wife receive “good morning […]” texts and “whats up […]” texts is getting a bit trite.

Exactly and its definatly not fair to her to have to deal with that frustration. I would suggest trying to call him and see if he answers the phone and try to ask him that way and if not your only other shot really would be to contact to police im pretty sure this can file under harrasment. And in no way can it get thrown back at you for what some people are texting him but I would say use the police since its becoming a daily problem. And its also scary in a way that hes texting your wife and family members because theres a lot of fucked up crazy people in this world. I would try to resolve this problem asap best of luck bud.

No problem and maybe even if you do call him maybe a threat would work. Such as listen if you dont leave my family alone the police are going to be contacted…the next time a text is made to your wife/female family members call the police and if he doesnt text back maybe even still try to find out who it is without him knowing just for your own satisfaction/relief.

I have an At+t phone sitting right here, my girl has At+t the service BLOWS. My cricket works in more places than it does, At+t has been steadily going down hill. So watch who your calling an idiot, when your clueless
