Need to get my 7 running again

Im doing the 20b swap with my FC and Im stuck driving a pos 97 3.8 mustang (auto) . It’s killing me i miss having some power :zzz:

i drove one of those stangs in a 'vert…felt like the slowest car ever.

yeah once you hit about 3,000 rpm the very little power that it has just starts dieing because the the engine needs air. I drove my friends old 94 gt vert back when the still put the 5.0 in them and to tell the truth my 3.8 was just as fast or well slow as the 5.0. I guess because mines a little lighter it made up for the few HP the 5.0 had on me. Still driving that thing makes me wish my 20b swap was done.

had enough power to take me last night but then again beating a 16-17 sec LS integra is really nothing to be proud of :moon:

and when the 20b comes in if you need a hand Im in the area. I dont know anything about swapping RX7 but I can turn the hell out of wrench

yeah but I bet the teg would kill the mustang on the turns. Im going to try and put it in in chassis fab if it comes in on time.

no im still waiting for someone to touch the Talon so maybe Ill have a race next year but I dont have my hopes up on that :moon:

ehh there really is not paperwork to import a motor holmes …
STEP 1 - call a motor-yard in CA and tell them to ship a 20B
STEP 2 - give credit card #
STEP 3 - recieve motor
STEP 4 - put motor in and get it to run
STEP 5 - ehh drive it

Why didnt you just swap A V8 into your seven it more easy then doing a 20B swap for sure. You should do an LS1 or LT1 or LS6 or and small block chevy or ford. I have a 302 to put in my rx7 for sale on here but no one wants it.

a RX-7 just isnt a RX-7 with our a rotary engine. Don’t get me wrong I love v8s just as much as the next guy just not v8s in RX-7s. I really don’t care if the project is easy or hard.

Yeah thats why I didnt do it also. Taking a rotory out of an rx7 is like stealing it soul. I was just thinking it would be cheap easy and faster

yeah it would be cheap and easy hell it would even be fast but nothing beats popping the hood and people comming over to say hey Iv never seen a rotary before.
