ontop of that, the first time my girl tried to make a name, instantly banned.
So she had to make a name on her phone, which was a pain in the ass.
Then she pm’s a mod about logging in on a different browser from the house pc, you know the one she cant use on nyspeed thats to the stupid fucking AE shit implimented, because its so srss bsnss around here.
The response she got “yeah thats fine but BS on being his girl” Like I’d need a second name, when I have 55 fucking positive feedbacks that nobody can see because the carry over load is so huge.

WOW lol… The name was probably banned because it linked to an IP address of an already banned user, or it was using a banned email etc… We don’t insta ban users ourselves. I am the one that said BS on being his girlfriend, I was kidding around. Yes we have nuked this server. We have the new board up and running on the test server, and once we get all of the major and most of the minor bugs worked out we will be transferring the database into the new software on a brand new ultra fast server. To give you an idea of how fast it is, I transferred the NYSpeed database to it (4 GB file) and it only took a matter of minutes. I ran a cleanup script that takes this current server over an hour, and it as done in under 5 minutes. We are actually working full steam to get this new stuff live, but it is quite a challenge that we are undertaking. We do not want to make any mistakes on this one as we only have one shot at getting the transfer right.
I know for the past few months I have said it is coming, but it really is, and it is bigger and better than we had initially dreamed.
