Nothing, revs just scare me. I never revv’d over 8k before saturday. haha.
I guess there’s no point until you have a tranny, axles, and slicks to put that power down anyways.
The head can take it but id be more concered about liquifying the rod bearings and seizing the motor. Ed @ Force Fed is testing out different stock AWP heads they’ve got around the shop. Basically they stated they were going to rev the piss out of a fully stock AWP, 1 with aftermarket springs stock retainers, 1 with springs and retainers, 1 with springs retainers and cams.
They’ll be reving up to 10,000 rpm to see how well they will hold up.

That motor keeps getting passed around, the new owner just contacted me and asked about some history on it, he’s going to use it in some “race car” he’s building, heh. But yeah, that 2.4 did make some good torque.
