New but check this out

the h22 head is not superior in cfm if both heads are worked to the max. the steep valve angle in a f22a head allows for a larger cam. the valve angle in the h22a head is much more shallow. its dimensionally limited. i believe that you can make good power with the H head, but just look at Bisi and his ride. he was once (or maybe still is) the fastest unibody na honda on the planet. n/a f22a. e.t. record of 9.36 and 150.8mp. over 420 whp i believe

Just so you know, Swifty who “MK430R” mentioned has a fully built H22(fully built head, sleeved block) all done by synapse with a Synapse 3076R turbo kit and that thing was not the most reliable thing. And he did all of what you said you do to “keep it reliable”. Another member on here, “crazyz250”, has a stock H22 with a Synapse 3076R turbo kit and that thing made like ~320whp and that’s as far as they could push it and have it be reliable, and it still recently had some problems with blowing a head gasket or something similar.

H series motors are the worst platform for boost. I’m pretty sure a turbo stock D series could make similar power as a turbo stock H series, and then turbo B and K series are just another league.

and SSmokinSS would suck your doors off their hinges.

That setup is not anything close to streetable, 98vtec’s is. But I agree that is alot of power for a n/a f-series with no vtec. But then again I do not care for the f-series, I already have the h22, and I love DOHC VTEC something the f-series lacks. The h series I have will supply more then enough flow I need for 400 hp,so no need to spend the money on another engine.

fair enough sir

Thanks about the info about the turbo h22 engines on here, I would like to hear about the issues they encounter. Good heads up about the head gasket, I will get arp studs and see what I can get in the aftermarket for head gaskets. And also I do not car about smokenss or how fast he is, I do not care if he beat me by 10 seconds in the 1/4 mile, I only try to improve my times.

But I would love to rock his insight at the strip!!!

The trans is probably going to hate you. The stock bottom end is going to be hit or miss depending on its prior life. I would get a h-b adapter for the trans and throw at least a set of forged rods and pistons as well as arp head studs

I thought about this, but after the build is done I am going to save for a fresh new h22a4 bottom end from honda for 2200 and just keep it in my basement until I need it

If you race a v6 6-spd accord with a decent driver, you’ll lose.

Just the new one’s and when he starts to pull ahead I am gonna flip that switch and let him see my rear end.

:lol You’re gonna spend so much money on spray you will hate your life!

about 150 bucks a year if that, I am not spray crazy

you saying I dont stand a chance, yet you say in other post’s you dont care how fast my car is…make up your mind? Right now your living on hopes and dreams to beat me…turbo’d or not. You better put some C16 beast together if you even want to keep me in view to see what color my car is…

I bet you dont know a damn thing about my car, about my setup and about my power. Your saying some pretty ignorant shit for not knowing anything about me.

dont end up like this guy…

Rant over/

I heard that hatch had problems though…could just be excuses but who knows.

weird. Didnt hear about any problems before/after the runs.

that was also just me on motor BTW

Car definitely moves out!!

who was that… pm me if you dont wanna say it in public

Seamus’s buddy who is a dope. He has a silver EK hatch with an air/water IC and 30r kit

whod you think it was

no idea… video is terrible
