I drove an 8 speed auto with 400+ hp over the weekend and it did suprisingly well on the hwy. Did pretty well off the line and didn’t seem to be “overshifting”, held gears well and the flappy paddles worked as expected with crisp shifts. Still rather row my own, but on a DD it would work well.
this should be a monster once the aftermarket gets a hold of it.
There’s pictures of the new design on autoblog. Make a thread, I’m on my phone otherwise I’d do it! Looks sweet the front kinda reminds me of an Aston Martin.
I was going to wait till there were full shots to start a thread.
Also I was not driving a new Caddy but I will be vague to avoid any issues, just making a comment about an 8-speed auto.
