The Imus thing, you have to admit that was pretty bad. That’s not some Chinese guy who doesn’t know the difference between African American and nigger because of a language barrier. That’s a guy who’s been on the radio for 30 something years, the entire time speaking English. The Chinese guy 1/2 of the he’s making couch labels, and the other 1/2 of the day he’s making pirate rap CD’s. All the English he’s exposed to is rap CD’s, so he assumes the English word for black is “nigger”. Of course, if that was the case it probably would have been “Nigga Brown”.
