god … i can finally chime in on one of these …
how about an older a8 or s8 …
i just bought my first audi (97 a8) … and i must say … i fucking love it … probably like it even better come winter
i will say … after the new year i WILL be buying a 02ish S8 …
i prefer bmw obviously.
i love my bmw. my dads e36 and my e46 have been pretty much flawless. only major repair my car has had in 178k miles is the subframe, which was done for free last year. other then regular maintenence, there has been no unexpected problems with either car. defineatly not the fastest cars, but they sure are fun to drive, esp as a daily.
take this with a grain of salt but im really thinking of selling my new e36 m3 to pick up my roomates b6 a4 as a daily.
i think the ///m is a really nice car but is more buisness than pleasure…maybe im just discovering im an audi guy
Let me know if you are serious about selling I would be interested in!
bmw.
i had a 528i, absolutely fucking loved it.
I’m an Audi guy all the way, so my opinion might be a little bias. I would say go with the Audi, the interiors are very dated and boring in the BMW’s and depending on the year the exterior of the BMW’s are very dated too. Audi styling in thoses years are just much further ahead of the BMW’s. I honestly think reliabilty wise, they are both about on par.
seriously? every other audi thread has a picture of the entire motor removed, the BMW threads you’re lucky to see the radiator out of the car.
If I had more monies…id buy more E39s LOL I have daily driven them between my 525(03) and M5(01) around 40k miles with nothing but reliability.
I like my s4 much more than my 325i. With that being said it depends on which model you go with. I’m sure if I had an e46 m3 and a b5 a4 I would like the BMW better.
If you buy a BMW make sure you get the obligatory BMW asshole ear piece and develop a complex. If you buy an Audi make sure you buy a well stocked tool kit or give your local mechanic blow jobs on a regular basis. Your call.
lol, this dude is always PISSED.
