I used to go to these rentals all the time when I lived in VA, and that’s the worst car in the world to watch go down the track. Its way too fucking loud. Either way, glad he finally got it – time to step up and get that all MB record next. He’s not far off.

I hate comments like this. Since when is 10’s not fast? It’s absurdly fast, and you know it, and so does everyone else. Be realistic.

For a world record? For a daily driver heavy Merc, that’s fast. For a world record holding car going 10.5, that’s not fast!

I’m with you guys…it isn’t that fast at all in the big picture.
It is a daily driver, not some days but everyday of the week, sports two child seats out back for my little ones, has every conceivable option under the sun and could be driven to Cali tomorrow morning in comfort mode while cruising at 80mph with it’s stock 2:65 gears.
Nobody in there right mind (not saying I’m part of this group) would buy one of these to make a purpose built street/track car. It’s a sleeper in it’s own right…or it was before the internet.

If that mod is a turbo, and you don’t want to have 8 pistons when you’re done.
