Hi, I’m Ryan. I’m on several local Mustang forums and want to see what the other car guys are up to. I own a lightly modded v6 Mustang that I’ll be taking to the track to mess around with. I look forward to meeting some new people!

Thanks! I have a Steeda cold air intake, dual exhaust conversion, 3.73 gears with a Ford Racing T-lock (LSD) and an SCT tune for 93 octane and re-adjusted shift points. I’ve been looking into a root style supercharger, but the 4.0 isn’t exactly blower friendly. What have you done to yours?

interesting always was curious what superchargers the v6’s run and i have a front mount intercooler, boost solenoid jumped, maf deconing, 3" turbo back exhaust, kyb agx struts on ground controls, short shifter, greddy knob, 2g wheels, cometic headgasket arp head studs, hks turbo timer, walbro 255, hids cars running on 14lbs on stock 14b, its slow sauce lol

I think the more common approach on the v6 is the procharger centrifugal supercharger, I just like the idea of the instant low-end power of the root style and that screaming whine when in boost. Nice! How many pounds was that stock?

i was thinking you were going to go with a procharger, i don’t kno much about mustangs or fbodys so i can’t really say much there, and stock talons come with 12lbs, its just a extra 2lbs, after i get my cams and fpr and clutch along with dsm link i’ll probably turn the boost up on it a little bit more till i find the turbo im looking for :slight_smile:

Why do you have a new headgasket, and head studs, and a turbo timer. Also please explain why you listed your shifter and knob as a mod?

idk why i was tired last night who cares lol, and the headgasket and head studs were done when i bought the car ask pat he would know lol (origial owner), and i kno that you don’t need a turbo time blah blah i perfer to have one lol, you saw my car why you ask questions lol

surface rust? You could hide drugs in the rust holes under your car lol. And i would sell you my evo 3 for 50 bucks just because i can. But it’s getting traded in when i put the sc61 on, so at the end of the month you know who will have it bro. Make him an offer on it im sure you will get a good deal. But like i said, buy the shit to tune your car and some supporting mods that you didn’t get from ebay before you start messing with bigger turbos. That is how DSM’S get unreliable.

WOW, last time i was under my car there wasn’t any rust holes that i saw… so if you say so, i guess there is? and i’ll give you $50 for your turbo right now! and for the millionth time dsm link is next, and who cares if the fmic is ebay or not, and the exhuast doesn’t matter it was from the cat back, and megan racing still doesn’t have the damn exhaust in stock so i’ll run what i could get, anything is better then the ricer exhaust i had… who said i was cheaping out on other things. my main concern is the fuel system right now and the brakes car needs mor attention to maintaince right now over go fast bolt ons. im done talking about my car on this kids thread if you wanna talk rob text or pm me…

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome lol… A coyote 5.0 swap would be cool, especially because it would still be in the older body style. not sure how realistic that would be for me, I might consider an 05-09 4.6 and keep the 4.0 as a daily driver.
