ok first off, this is the first time i read this thread and it should have been locked a looooong time ago since its filled with BS and pretty much NO facts. Send a picture of the device giving you an error. If Jay agrees you can send the product back to me and I will get the money off of Jay to send back to you.
but you need to at least provide proof of the error.
I had a similar situation to this last year when I tried buying a set of Nitto drag radials on Ebay.
After a month of being jerked around, I filed a complaint with the FBI’s internet fraud division.
The seller resolved the issue the day he received notice from the FBI. 
Amazing how law enforcement involvement can fix situations like this…
what purpose of sending a pic of the device giving an error? if it worked dont u think he’d just keep it and use it and not go through this big hassle? also, there have already been like 10ppl that have volunteered to be a middleman

dude sorry but this time your wrong…Ive asked pewterss to keep this open until resolved and he agreed. As far as the pic, I dont have a digital camera handy but am trying to find someone that does. All I can shoot is a screen that says “not licensed for your vehicle”. My posts and feedback on other sites speak for my honesty…and Smokey your right I would never go through all this if it worked. I’m going to let the person I spoke of see if he can help before I do anything further. He asked that of me and I will honor that promise. Thanks for understanding. you guys should keep in mind that gray05 has been around for a while… so some of us know him and have dealt with him and in hte past he’s had ‘issues’ but nothing i know of monetary… jsut ridiculousness… I would assume that jay is going to do the right thing and refund the money…
if dude ‘broke’ it then it wouldn’t turn on? if it’s out of license, then that’s another situation… regardless, it should be able to be reprogrammed and sold some how some way.
i agree with whitey it should of been locked, as the original purchase was not conducted on this site… there is a lot of personal bashing going on that’s sorta not really cool, as we all didn’t hear both sides.
but if it requires a guy from kentucky to find this board to get ahold of him then something was up with their communication.

i know Jay, even though he has had some rocky incidents in the past I doubt something as small as this would be completely his fault. And I am definitely right that this thread should have been closed a long time ago. I know because i write the rules. I am sorry but I will take Jays word over yours any day. I do not know that you did not break the device, I do not know if Jay sold you a bunk device. But I would take Jays word over some drama queen on the internet.
