New Member, Rob - 2015 Mustang GT W/ PP - Was at C&C 4/19/2015

I’m Rob, I’m living in Cheektowaga. Glad to be able to join this forum. Some of you may have seen my Mustang at C&C on 4/19. If you have any questions or just want to say “Hi” don’t hesitate to reach out.

I have a Black 2015 Mustang GT with Performance Package.

For those of you unfamiliar with the 2015 Mustang Performance Pack, it comes with a ton of goodies, I’ll list what I can think of…

  1. Gauge pack (Oil Pressure and Vacuum gauges in center dash)
Stiffer front springs (still too soft for my liking)
  2. Larger radiator
  3. Front strut tower brace
  4. Thicker rear sway bar
  5. Sport-tuned suspension and “unique chassis tuning” (What that mean exactly, is beyond me)
  6. K-brace connecting strut towers to bulkhead
  7. Unique tuning for ABS, Stability Control and electric steering.
  8. Painted black 19" alloy wheels (9" Front 9.5’ Rear) with Pirelli P Zero summer tires
  9. Brembo 6 Piston Calipers up front with 15” rotors (man… those things do their job)
  10. Different chin splitter to direct more air to the Brembos
  11. 3.73 final drive with TORSEN diff
  12. and finally… and most important to gain 50 extra HP… Spoiler delete
  13. I also opted to get the Recaro Seats (love them) which is not part of the Perf Pack

I’ve done a few more things to her, with a few more to come down the road.

So far I’ve added

  1. STO N SHO removable front license plate bracket (mounts unseen underneath)
  2. Eibach Pro-kit Lower springs (1.1” drop front – 1” drop rear) (Much better than the stock springs, without being too stiff for daily drive, btw)
  3. Corsa Xtreme Cat-back exhaust (Oh man, do they scream under WOT)

Eventually I will get a CAI and Tune, but I’m waiting until I have more mileage for that.

I do plan on doing autocross and tracking the car now and again on road courses. So if anyone does any of that, keep me in the loop, because I’m new to all that.

I also have a 2014 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight. Added a rear p-pad, Vance & Hines pipes and an intake.

Welcome

I made several comments on how good your car looked at the meet to various people. Especially when parked next to the previous generation.

Car sounded good.

Thank you both

Oh hey :hay:

You probably saw this already but… http://www.nyspeed.com/showthread.php?282820-2015-WNY-SCCA-auto-x-(Ralph-Wilson-Stadium)-schedule

lol Hey dude. Yeah I did see that. Next one I can make is June 14th, I’m planning on going to that. I’ll be around the fingers lakes on June 21st too, so I may do that one as well.

Very clean Mustang. First '15 I have been able to look at up close. Lowering springs do wonders for those cars. Looks and sounds awesome.

welcome from one forum noob to another  btw i work not too far from that train shot

Welcome. Saw your ride at C and C. Sharp. Maybe see ya around.

Nice ride.

A friend of mine has a slightly older 5.0 and he was able to pick up a decent amount with an intake, throttle body and a tune (picked up roughly 12mph in the 1/4). Considering your car already has the extra 50hp, how much more power can you get out of basic bolt ons?

X…

Hey Rob, it was nice meeting you at C&C. Nice vehicles! Love me some forty-eight action.

Good looking stang! I love my Corsa xtreme cat back.

Very nice!

A bunch of us cruise to the track (1/4mi) now and again if you are interested. Usually make a post on here.

I am definitely interested in that. I would love to see what she (and I) can do on the strip.

Nice looking car!

 Nice car

I love the new Mustangs. Great looking car
Welcome
