Hi, I saw 2 cars with PittSpeed.com stickers in their window on Beer School Road in Coraopolis around 3:30 or so and thought I’d check the site out. I’ve been looking for some sort of tuner crowd around here but couldn’t ever find one on the web.
Anyways, I drive a Midnight Pearl civic with I/E setup and am installing a new crank pulley, hopefully this weekend. I know its not a powerhouse at the moment, but I’m just getting some stuff done to it while I save up for a turbo.
Looks like a nicesite and it’ll be cool meeting people that share the same interests in the area.

I was in kindof a mood, because I’m currently in the middle of a double shift here at work, I was on my lunch break and I didn’t really do a thorough look over the cars, but I do know the first of the 2 was a VW and it had some sticker on the upper left of the trunk like VTek or something.

whitey, the proprietor of this site has a “memory red” jetta, turbo’d, and it has a Trek limited edition sticker on the left side of the trunk…
nice, so I got here because of spotting him, thats decent. I heard some kind of turbo sound when the light turned green but I was turning right so I didn’t really see much more of it.

Well I have to behave for awhile cause I got my first ticket in 3 years last week Doin 90 in a 55 on 279 headin into Pittsburgh, but the cop only wrote me for doin 80. It sucked, it was the first time I had kept it under 100 for a few weeks and I get a ticket, figures.

hmmm, uh yeah, you cant be driving 100mph on the parkway and expect to not get caught (or end up in a coma when you hit a pothole the size of PewterSS’s belly)
well with all the OT i’ve been working, usually I don’t get out of here til midnite or 1am, so no one’s really out. I have all the potholes mapped out too, so I don’t worry about them too much.
Anyways, I haven’t gotten a chance to really look around this site much, so do you all have meets and stuff?
