Well I finally got my 30lb injectors today(thanks Lou) and made a wideband dyno tune appointment at GMR in Ohio next Tuesday. I will be ready for the track rental at PRP on the 14th. I’m still trying to break in my new tranny and clutch.

I need to get 80,000 miles out of that new clutch and tranny. Probably only take 23 years to put that many miles on.

What tire are you running 26" or 28".
With 26’s you may run out of gear:confused:
My 4th gear top mph is 128 @6,700 rpms with 27" tires and 410’s
his sig says 4.30s
i ran on a 26 i think haha, cant remeber, and i didnt run out of gear I :love: 4.30s
pewter had 456s 26" tire and was in 4th across the traps when he went 11.7 @ 118

I’m using 26’s and I will probably run out of gear. 120mph in fourth with 4.30’s is right around 6800rpm’s. Next will be a 27 tall tire. I really don’t know what speed I’ll trap at but it should be a couple of mile an hour faster than 118-120mph range. I may raise my limiter in 4th to 7100rpm’s but I really don’t want to spin it that high all the time with the stock bottom end and stock rod bolts. My slicks are pretty new and I don’t want to spend the money on 27’s this year but they are a must for next year.

I’m just going to raise the limiter in 4th and hope it holds together at the track. On the street I’ll shift at 6600. but it looks like 27’s are what i’m going to need.
