Id rather be able to steer away from danger than to get traction :lol

Me and Joey did a bunch of pulls on the highway that night. Sean was with me. I was at 350wheel. Joey was RIGHT next to me until around 100-120mph where i pulled like a freight train. Now that ive turned to the dark side, i cannot hate on the K20 :nono Im rather pissed at the few runs i had last year. Out of the runs, i only lost to Ray, and Adam from a dig :lmao

^You in this thread ^:nana

At least I know how to post a smiley :nana

Is that the same as a “no-lift shift”??? Thats what I do at the track. It prevents me from having to re-spool the turbo in between shift and shaves .5 off my E/T. I can’t no-lift into 2nd or it becomes a big smokey burnout real fast… You can hear the 2-3 and 3-4 no-lift in the youtube vid in my sig by clicking the time. Sounds like a shotgun blast in between shifts.

you guys are junking up my thread with all your bullshit posts. :headbang :headbang

Sorry Andrew for turning a “riot” into something helpful ;D

No, they’re different. No-lift shifts are actually helpful (and fun), but wear on your clutch a lot (immediate, WOT change from X rpm’s to X-minus-a-few-thousand-rpm’s). Double clutching is, for example, redlining 2nd gear, pushing in the clutch and going to the neutral spot (not sure of technical name :lol), letting the clutch out completely (“engaging neutral”), then pushing the clutch in and going to 3rd. Necessary on cars with gearboxes that don’t have synchros, but really not necessary at all on modern/street cars (unless you REALLY want to over-baby the gearbox.

BTW I clicked on the link in your sig and that’s the first time I realized that you had a pretty quick car :lol . Plan on getting slicks next year? I cut a few 2.20’s in my bone stock SER, with slicks you should be able to out-launch me :nana ;D

Speaking of license plates, while cruising youtube I found this one:
