New Pricing Of $9,990 Makes 2009 Nissan Versa Cheapest New Car In USA

lol i dont think i can fit all my kids in this

I don’t remember if they were tied to Tata but it was definately cheap. I know someone that got rear-ended last week by a pick-up truck at high speed, if they were driving one of these little cars they might be dead. I can’t imagine a head-on with a hummer, etc.

Was it this? Renault…

Either way, yet another rusty spork in the american auto industry’s eye.

then lets ban vehicles over 4000lbs? lol

i would still cry myself to sleep paying $200/month for that… I remember trying to sell these in ATL… fucking garbage! Cough up the extra few grand and get a civic/elantra/corolla…

THAT IS THE ONE! You lose more in depreciation of a big three car as soon as you buy it!

I ship stuff that weighs more. That could be a problem.

I wonder how much you can negociate off the MSRP on these?

The one for 9,990 is too stripped guys.

I’m not sure what they cost, but I drove around a toyota yaris around florida for about two weeks.

I was pretty happy with it, and i’m 6’5’’.

A also rented a hyundai accent, and was somewhat happy with that as well.

This was when gas was over 4 bucks a gallon. If I were buying a car, I would step it up to a corolla or elantra…

yeah, but I dont really mind having to wind down windows and drive with the windows down to stay cool in order to save $3000-$5000 that you would save over a yards or corrola.

ess than a month after Nissan announced its $9,990 blue-light-special Versa Sedan 1.6, Hyundai has one-upped them. Or should that be one-downed? The 2009 Hyundai Accent has regained the title of Cheapest New Car in America with a starting price that undercuts the Nissan by a Jackson. Priced at $9,970, it is now the least expensive new car on the market. And Hyundai didn’t reduce content to get the price down. It’s essentially the same Accent you could have bought last month, just with a lower MSRP.

That’s a hard deal to pass up, but that’s not all bargain shoppers! Act right now and you’ll be getting some free piece-of-mind, as well. According to the most recent J.D. Power and Associates Vehicle Dependability Study, it’s also the “Most Dependable Sub-Compact Car” on the market. With Hyundai’s 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 7-year/unlimited-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection, it tops the Nissan there, as well.

The $9,970 pricetag applies to the 2009 Accent GS 3-door with a manual transmission, which comes with a 110-hp 1.6-liter four-banger, power steering, airbags all around and even a tire pressure monitoring system. If you absolutely have to have an automatic or four doors, however, the price jumps quite a bit. The Accent three-door with automatic transmission starts at $12,070; the Accent GLS 4-door with a manual transmission starts at $12,920; and the “sport-tuned and comprehensively equipped” Accent SE 3-door with manual transmission starts at $15,070. Freight adds $695 to each. So we’ll call this one the cheapest hatch in America and the Nissan gets to keep cheapest sedan honors, for now at least. Check out Nissan’s full pre

my sister was just looking for a car, she checked this one out. she said theres nothing to it totally stripped. all she was looking for is a dd and its well below the quality she wanted. no negociating on price either. in the end you get what you pay for.

stripped as in no radio?

it had am and fm radio thats it

still a damn good deal for a cheap point A to point B car, brand new too

for some reason I could buy the nissan and feel thrifty, but if I got the kia I’d just feel cheap.

most deff if your a person who doesnt care about the fancy stuff its a great dd for a great price

hyundai…

same.

wrong… the stripped down 5spd Accent DOESNT have a radio or a/c… Its base as base can be buts its almost 2009 and you want a NEW CAR under $10k? You really cant expect much as far as features go
