That’s my stock ECU. I don’t see ME x.x on there

anything sent out take 3-5 days to get back. There’s and Salisbury VW can do APR programs. They are within driving distance. GIAC is a 4-5hr drive as well down at AWE. I can send them ecus and they come back in 3 days. (1 day out, day there, day back)

yeah in my case it’s hard to be down for 3 days. I work sun-thurs & don’t have second car to drive around.

http://www.salisburymotorcar.com/ you can take it here for an apr tune. u have to call for an appt. first

if you cant afford it, i wouldnt do it yet. swapping ECU’s can be an issue. depending on the model, because later ones had the immobilizer that you have to program out.

my 98 wasnt one that had that, so when i did it i bought a complete ecu for it and just swapped it, then sold it when i sold the car.

The color looks great. Don’t mind laduke, he’s just used to shitty cars sprayed with bedliner.

He’s been the only 1 to bash the color. Oh well

I have a feeling I’ll just end up having it done. 1 pay check from my seasonal job will pay for it, so if i haven’t found anything in 2 weeks, I’ll probably gonna just going to have a local shop do it

I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the tip

Engine bay looks nice but I would finish it up with some black paint too.

That’s my plan. I want to paint a few things black. I think with the black, bronze & hibiscus red it’ll look good

Few pics of the naudi. I recently bought a mint set of s4 wood trim off audizine (pics up soon) & in the mail is a new silicon throttle body hose. old 1 is just dirty & I can see a few cracks. Once that’s in, I’m unsure what i’ll do. right now it’s looking like the plan is drive her til next summer & maybe upgrade to a urs6? :dunno

Well after 164k, I’m pretty sure my original k03 is shot. So before I’m back to school at good old HVCC, the Naudi is getting overhauled.

I picked up a slightly used k03 locally the other day as well as a hfc (sick of that check engine light from the tp). I also have new hid fogs (3k) & new hid headlights (6k) coming from DDM Tuning thanks to some jack wagon who stole my hid fogs in crossgates parking lot. The other thing that is coming for the Naudi is a full Samco silicone intercooler piping kit. And to top off the overhaul, I have an APR chipped ECU coming in the mail. Next weekend (19-20) she’s getting blown apart. Hoping to get 15 psi out of her. I’ll post pics of the tear down & rebuild for sure. Can’t wait to have her running like a top. :excited

New to me k03. 60k on it, barely any shaft play. Hopefully better than the current 1.

is it smoking or just slow as balls? my original k03 on my A4 had the actuator fail, causing the WG flapper to be open the whole time.

Just slow as balls.

its likely. before ripping it apart, you should check the boost requested/actual measuring block with a vag-com will tell ya whats going on. either the N75 is shot or the WGA is no good.

even with a bad actuator my A4 would make 2-3psi just from being so small and so responsive

N75 was replaced about a month ago. I’ll look into the WGA & see what’s up though.

long needle nose, and grab the WGA shaft and see if there is positive tension on it still.

Thanks for the advice, always appreciated

Same thing happened to my cousin’s '99 A4 1.8t, it was slow as balls and it turned out the actuator failed.

And now same w/ mine. Tore into her today & that’s exactly the problem. Zero shaft play though

yeah man, my turbo was fine, but the actuator failed and the WG flapper got damaged from slapping around. inspect it well.
