headlights aren’t expensive. the late model one piece design can be had for under $100 on ebay and I’m sure they are dirt cheap on any forum.

how do these hold up 100k+ reliability wise?

I’ve sold quite a few Audi cars. They all seem to have the same little problems when I get them, which I usually take care of before selling so they pass NYSI. Wheel bearings, ball joints, tie-rod ends, o2 sensors, coolant temp sensors, etc. I’ve only broken down once in an Audi and it was the white avant I have when the tranny went (automatic).
I prefer 1.8T over 2.8 or 3.0 no doubt about it. The highest mileage 1.8T I’ve sold was an 01 w/ 130k. It was a one owner car always used synthetic. This car drove better than any of the lower mileage ones I’ve sold. Mileage doesn’t usually matter to me, if the car looks like it’s been taken care of and it runs nice I will buy it.
If nobody buys it I’m going to fix it up and raise the price a couple G.
