question… is this replacing the normal tuesday night format? or is this pretty much the same as the normal tuesday program… i havent been there in awhile pleae explain
no this will not replace our regular Tuesday program, this is addition to. We will still have JR Dragsters, test and tune and the amateur program. Thanks
the JR drags need to go and be moved to another night, they are nothing but a waste of time
Totally disagree. We’ve all got to start somewhere.
I didn’t say get rid of them they need to be on their own night, say monday’s or thursdays when the track in not running other regular events.
I’m sorry sitting there waiting 20-30 minutes while they take pics of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place cars in the burn out boxes, stopping all the racing is a huge waste of the racer’s time. Put them on their own night so they do not slow down everyone else who it there to test and tune and get as many passes in as possible to collect data

let them have their own seperate night , I think its BS to pay $20 for test and tune and then sit for 45 mins between runs while 9yr olds play around, sometimes cars run faster when their hot lapped
I dont think it would not be worth it for DTRP to run them on a different night. They only get 1/2 dozen Jr. Dragsters. DTRP is a business they dont offer drags out of love, they do it for money. I really dont mind them too much, but then my car likes cooling down between runs. Maybe they could figure a way to speed it up- maybe start them earlier or something.
as far as the quick 32 thing- I always liked tuesdays becuse it’s low-key. You get a good number of runs and dont really worry about the big dog fri night guys. I think this will attract more serious racers which i am not one of.

i agree with this tuesdays was always for us non-friday drag guys… this will bring alot of the friday night guys into it meaning even less runs
no thats not true, less runs. you will still get 2 time trials like always, and eliminations as far as you go.
can you still do the X class when you are eliminated
Yes, tuesday is for the jrs to run as always and then t&t.
If you dont want to run a class just do t&t no one is going to make you run a class if you dont want to. Plus fast cars make for better track conditions which always makes me happy.

anyone can go, i will not waste my time there anymore, considering the prep sucks balls, that is if they even prep it some weeks
I kinda get a kick out of and enjoy the junior dragsters.
They should run the final championships on a Wednesday so they have a big crowd for the “youngster’s”
Do you even make enough power to have traction issues… Ive always said and always have seen better prep at lancaster than nyi, i always cut better short times at lancaster.

Yes Bill I do, esp on nitrous. I always have my best times @ NYIRP bec it is actually a prepped starting area there
