The reason people originally started making sil80’s was purely because the silvia front ends are cheaper to replace or fix when drift damage is sustained. Nissan caught on to this and made a sil80 from factory with better suspension and the silvia front end. It’s purely up to the individuals opinion as to whether it looks better

Also because they are lighter. And drifters love to remove weight from their cars.

yup. Think from factory they played with ecu and stuff as well managed to pull another 20 or so Kw from the engine. Personally I think a nice one looks wicked, but I’m keeping my 180 with the pop ups. Onevias on the other hand…
