So now…to drop or not to drop. I’m thinkin of too drop. If I do go through with it, it will be the Tein H-Tech I’m pretty sure (or worst case Espelirs). Tein’s are about $200 while the Espelirs are $500.

Tein drop: Between 1-1.9"
Espelir drop: 1.25" all around

Def needs a drop now!

i think your gunna kick yourself if you don’t go more than an inch. But i like the look alot, and the offset is nice

Any drop will look good, and it’s definitely a step up.

I recommend playing around with photoshop and finding other cars with their drop specs before settling down on the drop you want.

Plus measure out how high your pinch weld/oil plate sits, you’d be surprised at how much room you safely have to play around with.

i would deff recommend a drop, but (and people might be suprised) i wouldn’t go too low. with the rims you choose they are a very stockish wheel so give it like 1.5-2" drop and it would have a very oem feel while looking a ton better and 99% of people wouldn’t even realize its not stock.

Yeah I’m considering it.

And I’m not slamming it Vlad lol. Definitely not going to go measuring oil pans as I’ll never be that low :lol.

those wheels are a good look for that car. 1.5-2.0 would be perfect it would be a unique and understated.

those look so perfect , almost like factory .

it looks like you put some cheap wheels on a nice car

wheels look pretty small for the car, probably due to the smaller tire sidewall size… I wouldn’t go less than a 2" drop

Really liking those wheels. As others have mentioned a drop will make it look much better.

Being an G35 owner I was looking at wheels for the longest time myself. Found it difficult to find any aftermarket wheels for the Sedan that I was really in love with other then the M45 Sports, which you know are rediculously expensive and difficult to find.

:lol Benny. Easy.

I’ll like do the H-Techs. Just need to confirm with a few people if they work on AWD models because they are actually RWD model springs.

Srads…yeah I love those too but their offset sucks on my car (+50) and yes, they are stupid expensive.

Wheels look very good.

After a little expert MS paint action… I came to the conclusion that you need me to install air suspension on that car.

and some different wheels!

Nothing wrong with the wheels. And I’m not looking to sink money into this car. $200 Teins is what it will likely be.

KrazyKid is going to install air ride and a flat tire?

Honestly for a car of that “caliber”, jank $200 springs would be a disgrace.

and a bent rear wheel. LOL free-form selection tool + KK at the helm = not so good photochopping.

yeahhh. thats not a good idea.

The factory struts will hate life, riding around 2" higher in their compression than they are designed to be.

The replacement struts, when they blow, will cost what you should spend on proper coilovers or “other air alternatives”

Many people are on them without issue. And who cares what it costs? That’s the going rate for most springs ($200-500) on the vast majority of cars on the planet (aftermarket springs).

I ran a 1.5" H&R drop on after market struts for 60k without issue. That was on the Maxima which had a far less advanced suspension.

I just find no need or use for having $1,800+ Coilovers. Tein or Espelir springs will do the job just fine (Tein being lower than Espelir) regardless of their price. That is based on real world experience from other M owners and not a bunch of guys on Shift518 who have never had this car nor lowered this car and only look at the price of the product in question.

You think I haven’t done my research and will put EBay quality parts on my car? No sir. :lol.

Shoulda gone volk.
