I find it hilarious how all the american car guys say the Audi is ugly.
I am not hating on the caddy, but you guys need to understand what a good looking car is. Not a transmarobird or a cavalier.

I am thinking if someone thinks the CTS is a great looking car they probably think every other car is ugly.
I know it’s just opinion but if you think the CTS is better looking you are probably a drunken Bills fan that paints his face.

Thid thread makes me laugh. People looking at the rs6 are not going to be comparing it to the cts. This is like the whole " a gtr is faster than a carrera gt for 1/3 the price" crap.
i’m neither a domestic guy nor a euro guy… and i dont see how the Audi is so much more $$$.
It isnt like Audi is more prestigious than Caddy, and it certainly doesnt cost equivalently more to make than is suggested by the MSRP when you consider efficiencies and how much platform sharing VW group does versus how retarded GM is.
if the Audi were $10k more i would understand, but even on the street the Caddy will turn more heads and get way more bitches than a european wagon that just happens to have more power than the caddy and AWD which no one actually needs who buys these cars.
I know it doesn’t account for the majority of the difference, but the US dollar sucking so bad does not help when trying to buy a foreign vehicle.
I guess it comes down to this, if you don’t see why the Audi is more you shouldn’t buy one.
If you understand why then you should buy one.

imo the Audi looks way better, the Cadillac has no curves. the Cadillac interior looks nice but i bet it isn’t close to the quality of the German interior

well you just arent a blind german car humper like those in this thread. they would say the audi interior is better than the caddy even if it was made of horse dung… it would be super high quality prestigious horse dung. :rolljerk:

obviously you didnt read the first two posts or get the intent of the original poster.
both cars are amazing looking. both cars have great power, quality interiors and great drivetrains. only a fool would waste their money on the audi thinking its that much better of a car cause it isnt.

you know, every year at Detroit I check out the new caddy near production interiors and I say “they’ve done it, they’ve matched that M5 over there in quality even if the layout is so so”
then I drive one in true production trim and “WTF, where did the leather wrapped dash with deviated stitching go? where did all these cheap hollow sounding plastics come from, these buttons don’t have nice feedback… etc, etc”
it’s called cost down, and it’s one of the reasons they are cheap and not as good.
if you are referring to my comment, it may have been said for an older cts but still the new one isnt much different

You have no point at all. You wouldnt know quality if it punched you in the face. Audi having a nicer interior has nothing to do with “being blinded by german cars”. i have owned nothing but Japanese cars my whole life and 1 Audi.
Why change something that works?
Cadillac is going after a mid-life crisis dad who wants a fast,good looking car… just because the typical NYspeeder doesn’t like it… (and probably will never have the means to purchase one brand new) (notice i said typical,not all) doesn’t mean a lot of people will buy it.
I personally love the looks of the cts-v and even if they were the same price i’d take the cts-v over the rs6 any day.
but that’s just me…and… 10,000 other potential buyers in america
