so this weekend was my first run. MAN did i have a blast.

the ‘bonus’ was that when i had the car inspected earlier in the week i was told i need to get new brakes and tires soon.

I THINK that i’m reading the scca rules right…Can i run an r compound tire in stock class? Nothing is limited in the class for tires…

also i think for brakes i can’t go bigger, but can i get slotted or drilled?

Nice meeting you this weekend Dave! I answered your PM about the tires. With the brakes just get better pads, don’t screw around with slotted/drilled rotors. Hawk HPS work good for small cars with no ABS. If you have ABS and don’t mind a wee bit of extra dust, try the Hawk HP+'s.

I can’t make it for this next week, but i’m going through a list of stuff to have ready (fluids, plugs, etc) that i need to do for the next event.
